⚠️ Important: Simple Average vs. Weighted Average

You can only use a simple average (which this tool calculates) if the "base" or "whole" of every percentage is exactly the same size.

For example, if you score 90% on a test worth 100 points, and 50% on a test worth 10 points, your true overall grade is not the simple average (70%). Because the first test represents a much larger portion of your grade, you must calculate a weighted average to find your actual score.
